I just read Wine Lovers post for “Single Girlfriend - Nice guy 40+” and Perhaps the Nook might like to run a social category that people can place functions / meetings / Picture nights etc… Diner at the local pub etc… where nookers can socialize together.. Might sound abit risky, but I’d like to have a drink / go to the art gallery / perhaps a pizza in Lygon Street with a group of Nookers and friends.. What do other nookers think.. there must be others out there who would like an avenue to meet people??
I just wanted to make a nook entry to express my sadness at the accident in the tunnel in Melbourne late last week. My heart felt sympathy goes to anyone who has lost someone in this or any other accident and my blessing to anyone who was in the tunnel and made it out… buy a tattslotto ticket…
Recycled water - Do we want to drink recycled effluent ??
13 Answers Published 1 year, 9 months ago in My life.Hey Team Victoria… I want to take a straw poll as to what really is the mood of our state, with regards to us all drinking recycled effluent.
I understand there are many people doing it already, I understand that we are very short of water and have to plan for our childrens children, but would you really like to have it as your dinking water or would you prefer to pay extra and have a desalination plant for our drinking water and the recycled effluent made available to industry for their use with the exception of food & drinking products??
We have to be vigilant otherwise our governments just presume we will not stop them…
Should we be pressuring our governments to be doing more for our enviroments to assist it to do its job? http://www.crcsalinity.com.au/newsletter/SeaNews/dpap0102.htm
A small South Australia Desalination Plant exists already http://www.sawater.com.au/SAWater/Education/OurWaterSystems/Desalination.htm

The Middleborough Rd, Box Hill/Blackburn Train Crossing
1 Comment Published 1 year, 10 months ago in Where I Live.Hey guys, how good is it, that the road crossing over Middleborough Rd, has been finished so quickly. It may have seemed like an inconvenience, but it surely is well worth only 4 weeks of it.
Congratulations to all concerned, and thank you to all the local residents that had to put up with it or move out.
Hey, I’d just like to pat Whitehorse Council on the back once again for a wonderful Australia Day Celebration.
